Winners Circle Auto Service was born out of founder Tom Toby’s love for fast cars and racing. He’s been involved in some form of automotive or racing adventure since the age of 16—rebuilding engines, modifying street cars, drag racing, stock car racing, working on 4x4s, Jeeps, and even a couple of Monster Trucks. For Tom, working on cars has always been a way of life. As he puts it, “Going fast has always been my passion.”

After a successful career in the fire service, Tom launched Thomas Towing and Transport, a seven-time national award-winning towing company recognized for outstanding customer service and satisfaction. After 15 years of success, he decided it was time to diversify and return to his true passion: working on cars. With his family along for the ride, Winners Circle Auto Service was founded to keep that passion alive by delivering the same quality and professionalism in auto service that customers came to expect from our towing business. Y'all this guy is my hero, this is "Capt" Bob Gomer. He will be 80 on Monday and he is still out here tearing it up at 150 mph. I hope when I'm his age, I'm still here doing what he's doing. When you look up "certifiable bad ass" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Capt. Bob. Chuck Norris can have both feet on the ground and kick butt at the same time, Capt. Bob, changed Chuck Norris 's diapers. Y'all wish him a happy Birthday on Monday.

What a nightmare. Last shop that put this customers wheels on, over torque the lugnuts, most likely just hammering them on with an impact wrench. A lot of cars today have these cheap tin lug nut covers over the actual ugly lug nuts. The covers are generally a 1/2 size larger than the lug nuts, example, an 18mm lug nut will need a special 18.5mm socket. Most shops don't have that and put a 19mm on it with a little slop in the fit and round off the lug nuts. In this case, they spun the tin cover around the actually lug nuts rounding it off under the cover while they were severely over-torquing the nut. This caused 3 hours of labor to get two of these drilled out and now the customer has to pay me for the labor to drill these out, the labor to replace them in the hub and the parts. All of which could have been avoided if the shop had just followed the proper torque sequence when re-installing the wheels. This is why choosing the right tire and brake shop is crucial, choose someone who takes the extra time to do it right, yes it will cost a few more bucks.
