No this is not April fools for me although where has the time gone! Today marks 8 years of opening the doors here. It feels like yesterday I was telling and I’m tired of your 🐂 💩 I’m going on my own 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 just kidding you guys know that isn’t true! What a wild ride it has been my biggest thank you is to all my customers that believe in my quality of work and appreciate the final product , thank you everyone! My equally biggest thank you goes to my wife For doing all the bookkeeping on all of her NO spare time and always being by my side through the hard times of business ownership 😘 I love you! Cheers 🍻 to another 8 years and more! #356 #912

I’m just gonna go ahead and put this out there. I know my shop is not for everyone, I know I’m not the cheapest, my shop might not get your car back to its original glory days as fast as you would like but this car here and I wish I took more pictures and could explain everything in lame terms for everyone that is restoring a car or buying a restored car. But this kind of work is out there and it puts a bad taste in people’s mouth when they speak of getting a classic restored or they’re looking at buying one restored. This VERY NICE man bought this car from a very well known GTO Judge repair shop out on the west coast, paid for a PPI to be done on the car so he knew what he was buying was all correct. Car arrives and the new owner was beside himself car was a mess. He paid into the 6 figures for this car because of what the seller said it was and the PPI came back as being well worth the money. This guy has been around muscle cars for a very long time. VERY long story short, brings the car to a restoration shop here in town and they have their chance to make things correct and clean up little things here and there because they needed to replace the “A” pillar and drivers rocker and strip all the paint off the car. But no they fell short again for this customer. So he found my shop from a car I restored out at cars and coffee here in Wilmington NC and brought me the car to fix all the stuff he was unhappy with still after paying the other shop here in town a small fortune. Pictures never do things like this real justice but maybe you can see why the owner was just beside himself now after being almost fully restored twice! The pictures of it outside the front of my shop are with it lined up panel wise the best it could be without us having to do any paint work. I told the customer I will try and make this car the best it can be without repainting the exterior. If you have been around muscle cars you know taking them apart and putting things back together fully painted and were never lined up right to begin with now need to be lined up is a very stressful task. I’ll include a some of the things we did down in the comments 👇 #1970

Just wanted to make a post for helping out Dave working with the on a M274 Mule he’s redoing for the museum. Just glad we can help get his projects that much closer to being in the museum. Very nice guy and a pleasure to talk to! The BMX bike frame was done for another very nice guy that still loves his BMX bike passion!

Not to often it snows around here so of course we made the best of it! I had an old swing arm for the so I reverse mounted it and tack welded it to the one on the bike, worked perfectly! Had an old hood at the shop that I did some modifications to quickly with things I had at the shop. Made some great memories! #356

Bitter sweet to watch my boy and my little girl raced their last races on the 65cc and Elle on her 50cc. Braydon finished out great very proud of where he ended up in his class. Elle and I had big talk before her last race and I loved watching her pick her pace up it made me almost tear up! Love these kids and their will to want to be better and do better. On to the next stages 85cc for Braydon and 65cc for Elle she’s worried about the clutch and gears 🤣

The FJ45LV went to the Flotilla car show this past Saturday and took best in show! I’m not surprised I’m just very happy for my customer because he had wanted to go to that car show every year for 7 years while we were bringing this unicorn back to life! The owner said it got A LOT of attention! @4.wheeldrive
