Autumn is a popular time to get out on Greenfield Lake. Come see colors like these (and fall in love with the lake yourself 🧡) aboard one of our paddle boats, kayaks, or canoes.

Greenfield Lake Boathouse is open for rentals every Thursday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last boat out at 4). To view our available boats and plan your paddle, visit capefearriverwatch.org/greenfield-lake.

Head out in the field with Cape Fear River Watch to see one of our floating litter collection devices in action and help us collect valuable litter data!🥤We are hosting a pop-up cleanup from 9:30-11:30 a.m. tomorrow, September 4th. We will meet at the boathouse and hit the lake by kayak to clean up litter and performance maintenance on our Trash Trout Jr. along Squash Branch.

We will bring the cleanup supplies and kayaks—you bring your passion for clean water. We have limited spots and boats available, so be sure to secure yours if you would like to join us: tr.ee/popupcleanup. 🛶
