Cowan Lake Marina and Boat Rental Welcome to Cowan Lake Marina and boat Rental! We also carry bait and ice. Come on out and enjoy a day on the water!

We are now open for the season with pontoon, fishing boat and kayak/canoe rentals available daily through Labor Day. Cowan Lake Marina is a seasonal operation and the original location and beginnings of Taylor's South Shore Marina. The marina was the first place Tom Taylor began his marine industry career in 1969 while working the docks in high school under his mentor Les Dunn. Tom Taylor later pu

rchased the operation in 1985. The Taylor family is the oldest concessionaire in the history of the Ohio State Park system.

The Marina will be opening starting April 18. Day and hours will be Saturday - Sunday, 8am - 6pm until May 1st after May 1st we will be open Thursday-Sunday 8am-6pm till Memorial Day Weekend when we will switch to 7 days a week. 8am-7pm We will have live bait starting April 18.
