Continuing the series; The fourth reason why it is important to implement an employee referral program is because it improves employee retention.
Recruiterflow states a study was performed in which 46% of referred candidates were retained for at least a year in comparison to 33% for those hired from a careers site and only 22% acquired from job boards. If you do not have a system in place, we highly recommend getting that set up ASAP!
