There has been a trend the last few years of “1000 Hour Services”.
Let’s talk about this for a moment. 1000 Hour Service is a protocol MAN uses and is a significant service. It’s done every 1000 operating hours or Two years. Whichever occurs first.
Now, many people are using this term to sell these services on every brand of marine engine out there. None of the others use this protocol. It’s not an industry standard, its one that adheres to one brand.
Do you know the best service protocol for your engine? It doesn’t come from someone who has no understanding of how engines work. It comes from the published documentation from your specific engine.
That’s what we use. That’s what the professionals use. Make sure your powertrain is serviced correctly, at the correct intervals. Make sure they’re done properly with OEM parts and procedures. That’s how we do it. Well never sell you on some gimmick you don’t need!
