First event with the goblin, and damn this things a blast to drive. Just trying to break it in and shake it down, absolutely nothing has been dialed in, I was fighting overheating issues, I’m still learning how to drive the car, and it’s already running a 2:01.

Lucky dog Laguna seca 2026: We really kicked ass for a lemons team racing in a group of lucky dog cars… 4th in class on Saturday, 7th in class Sunday! We were running clean all weekend, but with an hour left we had contact (looking back at footage, it was our fault). We cracked a wheel, bent an inner/outer tie rod, and some body damage… but we were able to fix it in 15 minutes, get back out there, and pass checkered!

Lucky dog’s 1000 miles of thunderhill: amongst a league of $40-80k race cars, our little lemons car stood her ground, coming home placing 39th out of 88 cars, and placing 15th in class. Best Miata ever! The thunderhill 5 mile track was epic, as always!

What a race… we placed 7th out of 102 cars, and 4th in class. This was an extremely tight race. We were in contention of winning B, with only a 1 lap spread per position, but our competitors didn’t make mistakes, and we were never able to close that gap. This team and our little miata kicked ass!

3rd in class/11th overall at the 14hrs of Sebring night Champcar race! Big thanks to for letting us join you for this race and prepping an awesome car. Conditions were awful… pouring rain, lightning, high winds, and night. Even though 2 of us have never driven this track before, we were able to keep it clean and the car stayed out on track all night.

Kickass weekend at thunderhill running North America’s longest race (25 hours + 1 minute). We kept it fast and clean and the car didn’t skip a beat, putting us in 4th place in class and 12th place overall. We had only one incident around 3AM causing us to “slightly” break a wheel.

After ~200 race hours on a junkyard engine/trans, the transmission finally let go and the engine is having oil pressure issues. She did great. Time to rebuild the engine, and slap in a new used transmission to get her ready for the thunderhill 25 hour (and one minute) race!
