We are looking for both field and shop mechanics.

Must have experience with dirt moving / mining equipment. ( we are looking for all
Levels of experience beginner to highly experienced)

We are based out of Williston ND but work all over the country .

Pay is depending on experience we will make an offer after an interview is conducted .

We never shared the conclusion of this job , and it is definitely one for the books . After the boom foot pin walked out of the far bore and snapped the ear off and bent the other side this customer brought this material handler to us to fix . This was a group effort that had many different hands involved . From welding , lineboring , and facing the lift cylinders , to mechanical work on the boom . All in house . This came out great and is a great testament to what our team can do .

Radar disassembled a 375 at a steel mill in Indiana bound for Texas .

Today some of our guys disassembled and loaded out a mantis crawler crane headed for Alaska. Some of our customers have never even met us let alone spoke our same language yet have entrusted us with their livlihood !

Our culminating exercise stressed some people out but put them to the test on what they had learned .

Today we conducted our first trauma class , JLS (jobsite life saver ) is a class that we developed off the dept of defense CLS class . As field mechanics we often work on dangerous equipment in rural desolate areas without cell phone service and most of the time alone . I wanted to give tools and knowledge to others to stop the bleed and stabilize themselves or coworkers until help arrives . There are some job sites ( mines in particular) where once you drive through the gate you still have an hour drive to the downed machine . We had an awesome turnout and even had the privilege to have another company join us .

Some of the things we taught :
Mass hemorrhage and how to stop it using tourniquets
Establishing and keeping airways
Penetrating chest wounds and treatment
Converting and replacing tourniquets
Packing and dressing wounds
Shock prevention and recognition
Head injury recognition
Hypothermia prevention and treatment

We wrapped it all up with a culminating excerise that I think really tested everyone and that everyone really enjoyed .

We will be conducting a trauma aid class at our shop on Feb 3rd (Tuesday) at 8am . This class is tailored to the hazards and injuries you may encounter in the heavy equipment repair industry such as : crush injuries , amputations , burns , etc .

A trauma kit and 2 North American rescue CAT tournaquets will be included as well as a catered breakfast . We have 2 additional spots open for any customers , friends , followers ! Please pm me for additional info or to enroll.
