The 1981 Western Star Restoration!! First I’d like to thank my customer that hired us to do the work, thank you Karl Hammer & VT compost for trusting us with this project. Then I’d like to thank My employee & friend Dustin Gilbert for his dedication, craftsmanship, patience, expertise and commitment to this project. Dustin didn’t just do the mechanical side with me but he did a great deal of welding & fabrication work on all parts of this truck, he also engineered, designed, built and installed the complete wiring harness for this truck. He started with not one single wire in the truck and made every single connection with solider and heat shrink wrapped everything (Not one butt connector in that truck)!! Then I’d like to thank My uncle Richard and his crew for handling the body work and paint side of the project, Natalie, Cole and Cam did a great job!! Next is my 2 machine shops, Larry Lessard machined the front axle to fit, Pierre & Robert Ducharme made a lot of custom parts for this build, hands down the best Machine shops around !! Then my parts suppliers Mcloeds spring & chassis , RR Charlebois/Charlebois truck parts and NE Kenworth!! This was a COMPLETE no bolt un touched job and that consisted of up dating the rear drive axles,Suspension,front axle, transmission, engine, radiator and drive line. If I missed anyone I’m sorry and I appreciate you!!
