After rumors claiming Pennsylvania would be eliminating the state vehicle inspection requirement, PennDOT stepped in to set the record straight.

"You may have seen some posts about PA state inspections going away, so we wanted to set the record straight," said PennDOT in a post. "PA requires annual state safety inspections and emissions testing. There has not been any bill signed reducing or removing this requirement."
