Fantastic drive by Katniss. It was still too tight in the center. She drove smart and hard ! I would have went to the outside as well given the same situation. These videos are so helpful to me so I can keep making the changes she needs. A couple more laps.....

As you can see Katniss drove hard and smart Sunday. We ran double features at Exit 7 Motorsports Park . She finished third in the first and after a gear change she was waiting for the leader to make a mistake on the second. 2nd place.
I got a couple more feature wins with the 66. 🏁

Attention in the Pits!!! ATTENTION IN THE PITS!! Due to my work schedule with harvest we are rescheduling the Halloween Spooktacular to Sunday October 11th. We are doing trunk or treat and a candy drop. But wait there is more we are having double features (double entry fee $50 total with two separate payouts) with an extra $50 to each feature winner from Phil Earnest for the Clones and $25 extra for each 500 feature winner. Thank you to those fellas and we would to to see you at the track.

From the Time Machine...
2014
My first year back racing since I was a kid. It was a special win. It was the only time my mom got to see me race in person thanks to my Sister.♡♡♡
She was sitting in turn 4 where I stopped.
Sadly the man that taught me everything I know passed away 7 years prior.♡♡♡
It was a win that led to my first of 7 point Championships and 70+ Feature wins so far.
I remember at one point I was off the track in the grass.. lol I dont remember if it was in the heat race or the feature but I knew Mom was probably quite worried. Not much runoff area at RT66 before it gets ugly...lol

While messing with other issues. The main problem was missing the gear ratio. I went to a different drive gear. And missed it. The engine sounded solid. Still a bit tight at viola. Feature 9/12/26
Luckily my driver is forgiving....♡♡♡
Being crew chief is a tough job....
