The Sport Mod Spectacular returns to MRP Raceway Park Friday night as Sport Mod racers from around the region descend on Williamsburg with $2,000 waiting on the winner!
Now entering its fifth running, the Sport Mod Spectacular has quickly become one of the nights circled on the MRP schedule for the division, and this year we're putting even more on the line.
The feature pays $2,000 TO WIN and $200 TO START, but the money doesn't stop there. We'll also have HEAT RACE PAYOUTS, and drivers who don't make the main event will still have something to race for with a NON-QUALIFIER FEATURE paying $200 TO WIN and $75 TO START.
In other words — LOAD 'EM UP.
We want to see Sport Mods from across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and beyond fill the MRP pits Friday night and take their shot at becoming the next Sport Mod Spectacular champion.

Jimmy Lennex Jr. set the standard early, winning the inaugural Sport Mod Spectacular in 2021 before returning two years later and doing it again. He remains the event's only two-time winner.
Eric Shepherd Jr broke through in 2022 to put his name on the winners list, while Mother Nature kept everyone from adding another name in 2024.
Then came 2025.
Adam Stricker jumped into a ride and wheeled it all the way to Victory Lane, becoming the third different driver to win the Sport Mod Spectacular and earning the title of defending champion heading into Friday night.
Can Jimmy Lennex Jr. become the first driver to win it THREE TIMES?
Can Eric Shepherd Jr. become a two-time Spectacular champion?
Can Adam Stricker defend his title and go BACK-TO-BACK?
Or will a fourth different driver put his name on the winners list?
There's only one way to find out.
