Results for October 20th, 2019.
Thanks to everyone that came out and supported the race. We had a lot of good races and I am glad we were able to give some nice trophies away to the kids. We are planning on racing next Sunday. This will be our last race of the season. If we have enough we are going to try a new tag team style race.

The 6th Annual Boogeyman is in the books. We want to thank everyone that came out and supported the event. The car count was a little down from previous years but that was to be expected with the rain in the forecast and having to change the time. We ended up with 95 entries from several different states. At least we know we made the right decision with the weather and did everything we could to get the show in though because we ended the last feature at 1:00 and it started raining at 3:30.

I want to say a special thanks to our sponsors of this race: Ross May with McAllister Racing. And also Dave Enstrom and Chris Vierra with DE Racing. They both came to support the event in person and pitched in to give away alot of great door prizes.

Once again thanks to everyone that came out. We had alot of good quality drivers and had two days of close racing. Here are your results.

Attention!!! Boogeyman Announcement...
If there is one thing that I know in this sport it's that I'm never going to be able to make everyone happy I just do my best to satisfy the majority. That being said I know this message is going to upset some and also make others happy but I'm doing the best that I can with what mother nature is offering us for this weekend. There are several races at other tracks in the month of October so it would be hard to reschedule this race without doing it on top of someone else so it is important we get the races in this weekend.
Right now the forecast is showing that it is going to start raining around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Since we are going to do everything that we can to get the races in this weekend. The only way that I see that will be possible is by running some of the Boogeyman on Friday night.

So here is the plan:
We are going to run the DE racing Friday night show exactly how it is scheduled. As soon as it is over I am going to get everything in the computer setup as quickly as possible and we are going to run 1 round of qualifying heats on Friday night. I would suspect that those will start sometime around 9:00 p.m.
Then we are going to bump the heat race start time up on Saturday to 8:00 a.m. We will run one round of heats Saturday morning and go straight into the mains which will allow us to finish before the rain comes.

We will still be running the passing points format which accumulates points from both rounds. But because of the last minute circumstances if anyone is not able to show up on Friday night and still shows up on Saturday morning I'm going to give them last place starting points for the race they missed on Friday night, so it would essentially be like they started the race and fell out on the first lap. Any last minute Saturday entries need to be signed up by 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Here are trophies for the Boogeyman. We are looking at the weather constantly and trying everything we can to figure out a way to get the races in this weekend. I have a question, is there anyone that is coming on Saturday that is not planning on coming to the races on Friday night? The rain is supposed to start early on Saturday so I am are trying to figure out a way to combine the two days and possibly run part of the Saturday show on Friday night.
