Out with the old and in with the new… Little update on a C6 that originally just came in for a tune. We figured no better day to post this while everyone is talking about the ZR1/Z06 tuning being unlocked. We are still spreading love to the C5 and C6 cars over here! 😂
Anyways, this car came originally for tuning after a procharger install. Customer had gotten sent the wrong intake from Holley so the 92mm throttle body wasn’t allowing the throttle to open all the way. Next, the car was only making 10psi of fuel pressure so we decided to drop the tank and decided to go with a Fore dual pump system and now has plenty of pressure! Lastly, moving the car around the shop was very hard to get into gear and wouldn’t go into gear when it was running. The pics of the clutch say it all.. So, we hooked him up with Monster triple disc clutch! Also, hooked him up with a charge pipe to clear his hood (and done away with the MAF). All in all, a good little overhaul for this car and the dyno video will be posted when we get to that!
