A Statement From Ex*****on Cycles LLC
Today, an individual came into our shop and accused us of overcharging a customer because of his race. (This is the girlfriend of the customer as he already picked up his bike and then came back and sent her in) During that confrontation, an extremely offensive racial slur was used inside our business.
We want to make something very clear: racism and racial slurs will NOT be tolerated at Ex*****on Cycles LLC—period.
The accusation that this customer was charged differently because of his race is also completely false. He was provided an estimate for the work performed. In fact, as a courtesy, his labor was reduced from 8 hours to 6 hours, and the labor rate was reduced from our normal $125/hour to $100/hour because he was known to us. Parts were charged at retail, and no additional tax was added. (A deal right! JD tries his best to help everyone out according to there budget)
We stand behind our work, our pricing, and the way we treat every person who walks through our doors.
If anyone ever has a question or concern about an invoice, we are more than willing to sit down, review the charges, and explain the work performed. What we will not accept is someone entering our business, making accusations of racial discrimination, or using racist and degrading language toward or about anyone.
Everyone is welcome at Ex*****on Cycles LLC. Hate is not.
