The bluefin tuna fishing has been outstanding over the last couple of weeks! We’ve had multiple trips with double-digits, with most of the fish being overs while still picking away at a few unders to keep the rods bent all day.

The bite has been as consistent as we’ve seen in a while, and if the weather cooperates, we’re expecting the fishing to stay strong.

We only have a few days left available in August and September, so if you’ve been thinking about getting offshore this season, now’s the time to get on the schedule.

Another unreal day yesterday aboard the Bodacious! We wrapped up the tuna fishing early, going 7 for 7 on yellowfin first thing in the morning. After that, we switched gears and dropped for tilefish to put some different meat in the box.

To top it all off, we landed a surprise New Jersey wahoo! It’s one the first wahoo I’ve ever seen or even heard of being caught off New Jersey in June.

The fishing just keeps getting better. July is filling up fast with only a couple of dates remaining, and August is starting to book quickly as well. If you’ve been thinking about getting offshore, now’s the time.
