About 95% of Americans drive automatic vehicles, and manual transmissions are becoming harder to find.

But here’s a fun fact within the fun fact:
Every member of the All American Automotive team can drive a stick. Three pedals? No problem. 😎

Before brake lights and turn signals became common, drivers had to rely on hand signals to communicate stops and turns.
Which worked… until the sun went down.
Early lighting systems started appearing in the early 1900s, helping make roads safer and driving a little less like guesswork.
Bonus Fact:
Hand signals are still legal to use today if your lights stop working.

Before playlists, Bluetooth, and satellite radio… listening to music in your car took some commitment.
In 1922, Chevrolet experimented with a massive Westinghouse radio setup that required a roof antenna and cost about $200 extra—a huge price tag back then.
It didn’t exactly catch on.
By 1929, things got a lot more practical, thanks to early commercially successful radios like the Motorola, helping turn road trips into singalongs.
Bonus Fact:
The name Motorola came from combining “motor” + “Victrola.” 📻
Streaming has come a long way.

Turns out electric cars aren’t exactly a modern invention.
In the early 1900s, EVs were already on the road—and people liked them because they were quiet, clean, and easy to drive.
Gas-powered vehicles eventually pulled ahead because they could travel farther without stopping.

Bonus Fact:
The first electric cars were popular more than 120 years ago.
