This week, with the extreme heat we have a few cars come in with severe vibration while driving at highway speeds. All had slipped steel belts ( internal separation) and in need of new tires. If not corrected quickly could result in a blow out. Please check your tire tread and pressures often and if you notice a vibration act on it as soon as possible. Stay Safe!

This Independence Day is more than fireworks and celebrations. It's a time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who built our nation and the generations who continue to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.

What's in the shop Wednesday......... 2019 Dodge Challenger drove through High Water, vehicle died and customer attempted several times to start the vehicle. In the event you find yourself stuck in high water, get the vehicle to a shop that can extract the water from the engine, install a new air filter or any other filters that may have gotten wet and change any fluids that may have been contaminated with water before attempting to start the engine. There is a chance the engine can be saved if you do not attempt to start the engine with water in the system.

What's in the shop Wednesday............. A 2015 BMW with an oil pressure concern shortly after having an oil service performed elsewhere. During our evaluation we found the oil filter cap bypass valve was missing, a common issue we see on certain BMW models.
This is a great example of why experience matters. Many European vehicles have unique designs, special service procedures, and components that can easily be overlooked if you're not familiar with the platform.
