*Sedgwick County’s data reflects people who test positive with nasopharyngeal (NP) swab, oropharyngeal (throat) swab, or saliva molecular testing (confirmed COVID-19 cases). The KDHE dashboard differs because it also includes people who are IgM antibody test or antigen test positive if they are linked to a confirmed case or if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
Vaccination Doses Given by Sedgwick County:
🔸 Sedgwick County vaccine appointments are currently for health care associated workers and residents aged 70 and older through the Sedgwick County Health Department.

🔸 The Health Department offers two vaccine clinic options:
🔸 Former Wichita Public Library | 223 S. Main, Wichita, KS 67202 | This clinic is for health care associated workers and residents age 70 and older who are active and can stand for periods of time.
🔸 Wichita Transit Operations | 777 E. Waterman St., Wichita, KS 67202 | This drive-thru clinic is for health care associated workers and residents age 70 and older who have mobility difficulties.
🔸 Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early for your appointment time.
🔸 A total of 40,076 COVID-19 vaccination doses given by the Sedgwick County Health Department.
Sedgwick County Health Department Update:
🔸 No-cost, walk-in testing is regularly available for residents, regardless of symptoms, through the Health Department Monday through Friday, 8:30 to noon. No appointment is required.
🔸 Operations will take place at the Sedgwick County Extension Office, 7001 W. 21st St., Wichita, 67205 for saliva, NP, and oral PCR samples
🔸 Results are generally available within 18 to 36 hours. The Health Department will make three attempts to reach residents with their results.
🔸 If you receive a voicemail or missed call from the Health Department please call back in order to receive your results.
🔸 For the quickest response please call (316) 660-1022 and listen for the prompt to leave a message for the results department.
Sedgwick County Updates:
🔸 The local health order is currently in place through 11:59 p.m. on March 20, 2021.
🔸 It includes a mass gathering limit of 100 people and mask wearing requirements.
