I’ve been busy with a bunch of other stuff for a few weeks so I haven’t had a chance to post much of this project lately….

The cab is off to finish up the inside roll cage and tube work. I got the seat mounted last night and will be finishing up the funny car cage next.

When you absolutely, positively HAVE to have a solid ground….. that’s why we weld in a stud instead of taking shortcuts ...

When you absolutely, positively HAVE to have a solid ground….. that’s why we weld in a stud instead of taking shortcuts like self tapping screws. This ground will never fail!!!

Also note the ignition box mounting. Insulated rubber mounting studs isolate the electronics from vibration and help them live longer in this harsh environment.
