Q: What is something that will never stop us from taking amazing care of customers?

We just picked up a roof replacement out in Hobbs, New Mexico. There’s a ton of RV repair facilities between Hobbs and Wichita Falls but only ONE that this customer chooses and trusts to get the job done! That’s an honor that we don’t take lightly!

Today, our hearts are with the entire team at United Rentals following the tragic workplace accident that claimed the life of one of their employees.

Please join us in lifting this employee’s family, friends, and every member of the United Rentals team up in prayer. No one expects to go to work and have their world changed forever, yet in an instant, life can take an unimaginable turn.

Moments like this are a sobering reminder that tomorrow is never promised. Hug your family a little tighter tonight. Tell the people you love that you love them. Be patient with one another, and never take a single day for granted.

If you know someone who works at United Rentals, keep them in your thoughts. Many of them are grieving the loss of a coworker and friend while trying to process an incredibly difficult day.

This customer recently had their RV caught in a hailstorm. Like most people, they did what they thought was the right thing—they called their insurance company.

The insurance company sent an inspector, who agreed there was hail damage to the metal components. But he reported that the roof was fine… without ever climbing up to inspect it. (More pics in the comments)

As you can see in this video, the roof has significant hail damage.

Now this customer is facing an uphill battle to get the roof covered because the original inspection said there wasn’t a problem. Unfortunately, we see situations like this far too often.

That’s why we always recommend having an experienced RV repair facility perform an inspection—even if your insurance company has already sent someone out. RV roofs are specialized, and damage isn’t always obvious from the ground.

Get hailed on yesterday? Don’t wait to have your RV inspected!

Even if your RV looks fine from the ground, hail damage isn’t always obvious. Small punctures, cracked sealant, damaged vents, and roof membrane issues can go unnoticed until they turn into costly water leaks.

The sooner damage is documented, the easier it is to prevent further problems and, if needed, support an insurance claim before wear and weather make it harder to determine what caused the damage.

We recently had the opportunity to help a Forest River owner from Duncan, Oklahoma who found themselves in a frustrating situation.

After a previous dealership performed a roof replacement, it was discovered that the new roof had simply been installed over the original roof instead of removing and replacing it properly. The customer was understandably concerned and did not want to return to the same dealership.

That's when Forest River contacted CHC RV Center and asked us to take care of the warranty repair.

Our team removed everything that should have been removed, completed the roof replacement the right way, and got this customer back on the road with confidence. Most importantly, the customer left happy and satisfied.

During the process, the customer shared something that meant a lot to us. They told us Forest River explained that they have more than 2,000 service centers nationwide, but fewer than 100 shops they consider "preferred" for situations like this. We were honored to learn that CHC RV Center was one of the shops they trusted.

Being recognized among less than 100 facilities out of more than 2,000 nationwide is something we're extremely proud of. It reflects the hard work, training, and commitment our team puts into every repair, whether it's a warranty claim, insurance repair, or routine service.
