We moved to New York in 1983 to Owego NY. Our Father Robert Womack purchased the scrap yard that was at the time a Sa

lvage Yard. It was ran as a Salvage Yard for many many years. We purchased several portable car crushers and crushed cars across the state of New York and some parts of PA. We did that for about 20 years. We had a huge customer base. Then my father suffered a few strokes and we closed for a couple of years. Bobby my brother took over the yard and went to just the Scrap Metal. He has managed to run the business smoothly and to this date is still running the business. We service the public with roll-off containers for their larger amounts of scrap metals that they otherwise would not be able to get rid of (NO Charge for containers). Bobby has updated the equipment and put in a new set of 60 foot truck scales so it would be easier to weigh customers
loads. Put a Large Digital Sign on the side of the building so that they can see their weights when they weigh in and out. We have been able to keep the original employees our father had all these years. A lot of our customers have been with us since day 1. First buying parts and selling us parts cars. Now they sell us all their scrap cars and metals. They know where the coffee is! Hope you come up and check us out!

We are helping our Local Food Pantry (Sharing Point Pantry) raise funds to continue to feed those in our area who are in need. We are doing a scrap metal drive for donated metals from You and others in our community to Sharing Point Pantry. If you would like to donate your scrap metals please let them know at the office when you come in. If you can fill a roll off to donate. We can get one to you. If you have a car or truck you would like to donate to Sharing Point Pantry. Give us a call and will get you on the schedule for pick up and make sure the check is written to them. Sharing Point Pantry is a 501C so you can write off your donation to them on your taxes!

We have power and up and running like normal. Phones are up! :). Thank you to our Town of Triangle Highway Dept for clearing the trees after the storm and our Linemen for getting our power back while working long hours to do so. We appreciate you!
