We moved to New York in 1983 to Owego NY. Our Father Robert Womack purchased the scrap yard that was at the time a Salvage Yard. It was ran as a Salvage Yard for many many years. We purchased several portable car crushers and crushed cars across the state of New York and some parts of PA. We did that for about 20 years. We had a huge customer base. Then my father suffered a few strokes and we closed for a couple of years. Bobby my brother took over the yard and went to just the Scrap Metal. He has managed to run the business smoothly and to this date is still running the business. We service the public with roll-off containers for their larger amounts of scrap metals that they otherwise would not be able to get rid of (NO Charge for containers). Bobby has updated the equipment and put in a new set of 60 foot truck scales so it would be easier to weigh customers
loads. Put a Large Digital Sign on the side of the building so that they can see their weights when they weigh in and out. We have been able to keep the original employees our father had all these years. A lot of our customers have been with us since day 1. First buying parts and selling us parts cars. Now they sell us all their scrap cars and metals. They know where the coffee is! Hope you come up and check us out!

We are Happy to report we have turned in the first check to Sharing Point Pantry for all the donated metals we received for them. We not only gave them that check. But we *Matched* what you all gave! We will continue to accept donated metals for the pantry going forward. So if you would like to donate any to the Sharing Point Pantry . PLEASE DO! YOU BRING IT IN. WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST. Let the office know you are donating when you first arrive. You will receive a tax deduction in the mail if you leave your information at the office. PLEASE HIT THE SHARE BUTTON!

Did you feel that this morning walking outside? That cool weather that's come. It's almost that time of the year. Pretty soon the ground will be covered with a blanket of white. Now's the time. Stop putting it off. You're out of time to get the yard and driveway cleaned up of all the junk metal laying around. That old mower that died in the yard this summer. We all know someone who has or experienced ourselves. Please consider donating to his gofund me. He owns Brickhouse Salvage & Antiques in Smithville. So self employed. It's his livelihood. If you have ever been to his barn. You know it's like walking back in time. It's hard to run a store and beat cancer's ass at the same time. If you can donate. Please do. If you can't. Please lift him up with your prayers to beat this and get back to his business where he'd like to be.

FYI; For anyone having food insecurities in Upper Lisle or the surrounding area. Please utilize the food pantry box at the Upper Lisle Church. Please be respectful to the church's property as they graciously allowed the box to be placed on their property. It's there for folks to use when needed to help get them thru. Take what you need. Leave some for others. ~Be blessed.
*We Are Still Collecting Donated Scrap to donate proceeds to the Sharing Point Pantry . They help keep blessing boxes filled around the community.
