🔥🔥Fall Burn Ban🔥🔥

The Fall Burn Ban is in effect from October 1, 2025 until December 15, 2025.

During the hours of 6:00am until 6:00pm, it is illegal to burn any items including wood based products such as cardboard and paper. You will also not be allowed to burn within 150 feet of a wood line, except if the ground is covered with snow.

If a person wishes to burn within the allowed time frame of 6pm-6am, please contact the 911 Dispatch Center Non-Emergency line at 606-376-9117 and let them know the address that you will be burning at so they can make your local fire department aware.

Also, if you are going to be burning during the allowed hours, be sure to have a readily available water source such as a water hose close by incase the fire starts to spread or get out of hand as it may take your local fire department some time to get to your house.

A big thanks to Bill Matney Rescue Training for coming and teaching this course in the water we’ll most likely be working in.
