Your brake rotors aren’t supposed to look like vinyl records. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Most people look at these photos & think:

“Looks like a brake rotor.”

Our techs look at them & see a problem.

👀 Here’s what you’re actually looking at:

❌The grooves (those circular lines) mean the brake pads have been digging into the rotor instead of making smooth contact.

❌The dark spots/heat marks show the brakes have gotten extremely hot. That heat can make your brakes less effective & cause vibration, squealing, or longer stopping distances.

Think of it like dragging sandpaper across a dinner plate over and over. Eventually, the surface isn’t smooth anymore—& neither is your braking.

The scary part?
A lot of people don’t notice anything is wrong until the steering wheel starts shaking… or it takes longer to stop.
