To all of our friends and patrons: unfortunately we are on this arduous journey together but I want to say, as a small business owner, I can not thank you all enough. It seems, aside from the people that are falling ill, small businesses are hit the hardest by the virus. A lot of places have to shut their doors and lay off so many hardworking, honest people. People that have families to support and rents to pay. People that have sick loved ones at home and are scared they won’t be able to care for them. Many of us have saved our entire lives for these businesses that we love and care about and hope to support our families with.
I want to let you know that I truly feel blessed by you all. It’s only been a few (long) days but the support we have had from the community is immeasurable. We have customers coming in just to say hi, to have work done on their cars if only to support us so we may stay in business a little longer. I can see the unease on their faces walking through the door because we all know the situation is tough now. These customers, some we’ve only known a short while, are coming in to show their love and support and I can’t even begin to tell you what that means to all of us and our families. Thank you Whitestone, Bayside, College Point and Flushing for all that you are doing during these trying times.
We’d also like to let you know that we are here for you. We are keeping the doors open for you all. We are happy to help with ANYTHING you might need.
