Well today was interesting in the shop. One of my 6.0 had bad cam bearings so I decided to pull apart another 6.0 I had to find out that all the main bearings were trashed and block was cracked under the rear main bearing. See pic. So I pulled apart another 6.0 I had that came in a truck I bought and they stated it was a rebuilt motor and when they cranked it up had a knock and sold me the truck. I started pulling this engine apart and found that it has been completely gone through , new pistons, rods, lifters etc. how ever they kinda forgot to tighten the rod bolts. (Found the knock) and I bought this truck from another automotive shop, not local though. Yeah one hell of a day.

This is what happens when a vacuum pump locked up. Got it all fixed back up and ready to go though.
