The best mods are the ones you notice every time you drive.

This Raptor came in for a The Scientists of Lighting lighting upgrade:
• Squadron fog pocket lights with amber lenses
• S2 Sport reverse lights

Amber light cuts through dust, rain, and fog with less glare, while the rear S2s make backing up at night a whole lot easier.

From sputtering to running. ✅

The Mach 1 fired up and is running under its own power, which means we can move on to the next phase of the project.

Now that we’ve confirmed the engine is healthy enough to continue, we’re putting together the next round of recommendations focused on reliability.

This 1956 Studebaker Power Hawk came in for a structural evaluation after the owner expressed concerns about whether the chassis had been properly modified to support the Chevrolet 396 engine conversion.

After a thorough inspection, we found several issues that need to be addressed. The power steering rack is leaking and making contact with the oil pan, the power steering pump mounting system lacks proper clearance, the frame-side engine mounts require reinforcement, and additional leaks were found at the transmission and rear differential.

Our plan includes revising the power steering mounting system, replacing the leaking power steering components, addressing the oil pan configuration, reinforcing the engine mount structure, and tracking down the remaining drivetrain leaks.

Projects like this are a good reminder that a successful engine swap is about more than horsepower—it’s about making sure everything works together safely and reliably.

Back in 2022, this Wagoneer came through for a full LS swap, it’s back in the shop for some routine maintenance and a fuel tank upgrade.
