A few months ago I had our shop phone turned off. It was a hard decision but you can only take so many phone calls with the other person asking for Cal.
Dad had that number since 1976. I had answered that phone for years and it was one of the hardest decisions I have made but I can't help but think that Dad would be proud of me. My mom said so while she hugged me while I cried. We miss him so much.💜

Today officially retired! Still have work to finish up and it will get done but on my time.

As of June 1st I will just be doing small jobs and boat upholstery.
After the coworker left and advice from some family I will be almost retired.
The stress of people and my mental health is more important.
I will still be here at the shop. You can send me a text and I will respond. It may be the same day or a day or two but I will get back with you. I will still do my best to help you.
Some I have talked with for work to be done I will get you taken care of as soon as I get done with the work that I have on going now.
I sure do appreciate you supporting my daddy all of these years and me.
It is time to take care of me.

Had a set back today. There were only two of us working and some time today the other decided to pack up and leave. He left me lots of unfinished projects. I am and will be working as fast as I can and putting stuff back together. Good thing I enjoy puzzles because that is exactly what it will be.
I will be relying on what my daddy taught me and my God for his strength and guidance through his son my savior Jesus Christ.
I also hope with some wonderful customers too!

We are late in posting but it has been difficult dealing with our loss.
Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers in the loss of our husband, father, grandad and great grandad. Also for coming to the visitation and his funeral. Daddy would have loved to have seen and visited with you and just seeing how many people that he touched throughout his life either through the business, church, lodge or just around town.
Our family was so overwhelmed from the outpouring of words and kindness towards Cal. We knew that he was very well loved but the impact that he made on so many people whether it was kind words or just needed some advice or help with different things. So many kind words from everyone and we so appreciate everything!
