NEW PRODUCTS - MAHLE Motorsport is thrilled to announce two new POWERPAK Piston Kits for the Duramax L5P, designed specifically for the extreme load of today’s highly boosted direct injected engines. Backed by over 100 years of performance experience and using MAHLE-manufactured machinery that engineers the piston kit to exacting tolerances, both new POWERPAK kits are made of cast aluminum alloy. The first kit is part number 197987855 delivering a 16.0:1 compression ratio. The second kit is 197987955 and offers 0.075in valve relief pockets with a 15.7:1 compression ratio. These POWERPAK kits are offered in the standard bore size of 4.055in, and oversize bores of
4.075in and 4.095in.

Been many years since I worked on the pickup. This started as an injector swap. Now up-pipes and a handful of frozen bolts and clamps. More to come I'm sure.

Never a good day when the covers come off.

Limit switch buried under the motor and transmission went bad. Have to remove both to service it.

Not looking forward to the repair. And, of course, there is work waiting on the machine
