Mark Stead has been in the modified vehicle industry for 40 years and has owned his own shop since 2000. One of Mark's strengths is his ability to fabricate fully custom panels of all shapes and sizes. Big Shed Customs have recently relocated to Texas, USA from New Zealand with the opportunity to work in the home of the Hot Rod. We have bought our fully custom hand-built green Cab Over with us. Ma

rk has hand-fabricated all the bodywork on this vehicle and is a scratch-built one of a kind. We are enjoying traveling around and discovering all that Texas has to offer. The two owner 55 Chevy Pickup from Gruver came in for a tidy up. Usual Chevy Pickup stuff - floor, cab corners. Sandblasted and repainted the chassis. Removed the fuel tank from inside the cab and installed a new one under the bed. A very cool old skool pickup.

The 1933 Plymouth is sitting on the rack waiting its new TCI front suspension to turn up.

Also in the framing project was this colorized photo of Mark’s maternal great grandfather Smith on his 1925 Altoona Indian factory race bike. The bike was for sale in January 2021 and Mark and his mother were able to view this piece of family history. Sadly not buy it.
