A broken spring is rarely the only problem.

This Volkswagen came in with a broken rear coil spring. During our inspection, we also found worn rear shock absorbers and upper mounts.

Update on the Mercedes diesel project.

After disassembly, we confirmed extensive carbon buildup throughout the intake system. The intake manifolds required deep cleaning, and the EGR cooler was heavily restricted.

The good news? The EGR valve itself was still in good condition, while other components were cleaned, replaced, and prepared for reassembly.

This is exactly why proper diagnostics matter. Replacing parts blindly can get expensive, but finding the real source of the problem saves time and money.

We’ll keep bringing this Mercedes back to the condition it deserves.

When a diesel Mercedes starts losing performance, the problem isn’t always obvious.

This vehicle came to us with EGR and airflow-related issues. After inspecting the system with a camera, we found heavy carbon buildup inside the intake system.
