ZEUS Motor and the Wind Turbines Market

We are in desperate need of new clean energy sources, and wind energy is a significant growth market as we work to cut our use of fossil fuels.

ZEUS Motor is working with a wind turbine manufacturer on a new line of vertical axis wind turbines. These pancake-shaped wind turbines are designed to sit high up on the tops of downtown high-rise buildings where the wind blows strongly and produces more electricity. This also allows them to be close to their electric power customers that occupy the building, minimizing electricity distribution costs. It's an ecological solution and a beautiful marriage of technologies.

Our technical teams are working together. One powerful incentive for the turbine manufacturer to use the ZEUS Motor as its generator is the results of an independent laboratory test that found that the ZEUS Motor, when run as a generator, is up to 96% efficient, which is very high. Also, in light winds, the ZEUS generator is an extraordinary 18% to 20% more efficient than conventional generators. As the world moves to clean energy, demand for our ZEUS Motor will surely grow.

The way to break boundaries sometimes is not knowing what those boundaries are. That seems to have happened with Zeus electric motors.

Australian Company Plans to License and Manufacture the ZEUS Motor in Australia

ZEUS is in discussions with an Australian company to license the manufacturing of the ZEUS Motor in Australia. Australia’s GDP is $1.7 trillion, about 2.6% of the global economy. We estimate that annual sales of motors in Australia between the 1-500hp range are 800,000 units per year. Of these, our ZEUS motor has at least one very significant advantage in segments representing 176,000 motors per year. We call these our SLAMs (Significant Local Advantaged Markets).

Projecting potential sales within 5 and 10 years of licensing to this Australian company is a judgment based on what pricing strategy is adopted:

• How much money will be invested in building market share?

• Since the ZEUS Motor performs significantly better, should it be priced higher than the competition?

• Since the ZEUS motor is considerably less expensive to manufacture, should it be priced lower?

• Should the price match the current competition and result in higher margins?

We’re actively evaluating and negotiating the terms of this license. ZEUS’s licensing philosophy is to have rock-solid patents in place, train the licensee’s engineers to make the motor, charge a low licensing fee, and provide ongoing technical support.

Local Manufacturing

ZEUS is now in licensing discussions with an Australian firm to manufacture the ZEUS motor locally in Australia. This company has identified a significant agricultural market pertaining to the irrigation of various types of crops. Since Australia has a sizable international business supplying food to southeast Asian countries, the ZEUS motor's efficiency would significantly impact this industry.

The same firm has also identified a significant need in the mining industry, another major part of Australia's economy. Utilizing the ZEUS motor's high efficiency would vastly improve conveyors which move ore, the dewatering of mines, and spraying to reduce dust.

Local manufacturing accommodates a country's desire to own its essential backbone industries. Many developed countries are now re-industrializing, and their governments are eager to rebuild their local industries. This re-industrialization comes as a direct result of the recent disruptions to supply chains, the impact of Covid-19, and the increasingly strained relations between some countries like China and the United States. Governments are offering resident companies significant financial incentives to set up manufacturing locally.

Licensing the ZEUS motor to local manufacturers will allow us to increase our global reach, scale production, and break into new industries faster than we could on our own.

The Development of ZEUS Motor’s “Star Wars Stator”

The story of ZEUS Motor’s revolutionary stator dates back to the Reagan presidency. At the time, Sandia National Labs, where top-secret military and space machines are conceived and developed, had created technology for President Reagan’s “Star Wars” proposal. This proposal was for a “rail gun” that could be launched into space to shoot down incoming Soviet intercontinental missiles.

In the end, the project never moved forward, so Sandia started looking for commercial applications where its newly developed rail gun technology could be used. At the time, ZEUS’s CEO Tom Hopkins was then COO of an international consortium that focussed on developing a high-speed monorail that could run at 250 mph. Sandia reached out to the consortium and suggested using the technology as the propulsion system for the monorail. The consortium agreed; however, the attack on the World Trade Centers (9/11) halted the monorail project.

Ten years later, Hopkins realized that he could take that same rail gun technology and wrap it into a circle to form the stator of a new type of electric motor. Not only did it work, but after countless tests and studies, it turned out to work more efficiently than any other electric motor currently on the market.

Initially conceived as the accelerator of a space defense weapon, this unusual stator is now the foundational technology used for the ZEUS Motor today and is appropriately named the “Star Wars stator.”

ZEUS In Talks With US Military Suppliers About Licensing Motor Technology

ZEUS has entered into discussions with a domestic supplier to the US Navy in order to license the production of the ZEUS Motor. A key strategy to enable ZEUS to grow quickly, but with minimal capital investment, is licensing motor manufacturers and OEMs to produce and sell our motors to their own customers.

An aircraft carrier utilizes 4,000 20hp motors while the average US warship has 1,760 20hp motors pumping liquids back and forth. The smaller size (volume) of the ZEUS Motor is particularly attractive to the Navy because even big ships like aircraft carriers are cramped below deck. The ZEUS motor is 1/3 to 1/4 of the size of a conventional pump motor.

The military presents a big, high margin business opportunity for ZEUS.
