2026 BMW Z4 Audio Build, Part 2: Want better sound from your speakers? It starts BEFORE the speakers go in. 🔊

We’re back with this 2026 BMW Z4 audio build, and Camp is showing you one of the most important steps in creating a premium listening experience.
Proper door preparation.

When you remove the factory door panels, you’re looking at untreated metal, plastic, and factory speaker locations. And while installing high-end speakers is a big part of improving the audio, those speakers can only perform as well as the environment they’re installed in.

That’s why we’re treating both the inner and outer door skins with sound-damping material before installing the new speakers.

Here’s what that accomplishes:
✔️ Less resonance: Reduces unwanted vibrations that can muddy the sound.
✔️ Better speaker performance: Creates a more controlled environment for cleaner, tighter audio.
✔️ Reduced road noise: Helps limit unwanted noise entering the cabin.
✔️ A more enjoyable drive: Especially important in a convertible like this Z4, where controlling noise makes a difference.

Just because your paint still shines doesn’t mean your ceramic coating is still doing its job.

Here’s something a lot of vehicle owners don’t realize: Gloss and protection aren’t the same thing.

A vehicle can still look incredible two years after a ceramic coating was applied, but that doesn’t automatically mean the coating is performing the way it did on day one.

Over time, exposure to the elements, harsh chemicals, improper washing, and everyday wear can affect a coating’s performance.

So how do you know if yours is still working? Pay attention to more than the shine.

✔️ Water behavior: Does water still bead and roll off the surface, or does it tend to sit flat?
✔️ Ease of cleaning: Is dirt and road grime still relatively easy to wash away?
✔️ Surface condition: Does the paint feel smooth after a proper wash, or are contaminants building up?

Keep in mind that poor water beading doesn’t always mean the coating has failed. Sometimes, surface contamination is simply masking its hydrophobic properties.

That’s why proper maintenance matters just as much as the original application.

2026 GMC Sierra Denali Part 10: The final upgrade on this 2026 GMC Sierra Denali is one you’ll appreciate every time you drive. ☀️

We’ve covered the audio upgrades, custom fabrication, cameras, and radar detection. Now we’re wrapping up this build with something that makes a difference in everyday comfort: premium window film.

The temperatures may be dropping, but the sun isn’t taking a break. ☀️🍂

Just because you’re not feeling the summer heat doesn’t mean your vehicle’s interior isn’t still being exposed to harmful UV rays.

Sun damage happens year-round, not just during those scorching July afternoons.

Over time, UV exposure can contribute to:
✔️ Faded leather and upholstery
