A neighbor reached out, so we showed up 🦉

A woman in Westminster hit a hard stretch and couldn't afford groceries. She's older, doesn't drive anymore, and couldn't even get to a store on her own.

So we grabbed her essentials and dropped them at her door. 🛒

Asking for help is scary, and we never want it to feel that way. If you know a local charity that could help her long term, please send us a message.

Let's help find her some long term help! 🤝

You're Invited... 🦉

On Wednesday, July 22 we are getting together for our very first A Cleaner Carroll cleanup along Old Westminster Pike! A clean road is something every neighbor who drives it gets to enjoy, and it only takes a handful of us showing up to make a real difference for the whole area.

You do not need to bring a thing or stay the whole time. Swing by for ten minutes or stay for the entire cleanup, either way you are a huge help! We will have the trash pickers and bags ready to go, so all you have to do is meet us at 525 Old Westminster Pike at 10:00 AM.

2 new signs just went up on Old Westminster Pike! 🦉

We just adopted two stretches of Old Westminster Pike through a county program called A Cleaner Carroll that allows locals take responsibility for their own roads and keep them free of trash. We drive these roads all the time, so when we jumped on the opportunity to look after the street where our shop is located!

A few times a year you will catch us out there in the vests with bags in hand, clearing the litter, and keeping this area of Carroll County looking the way it should!

We are hoping to run our first cleanup very soon, so if you want to join us, drop a comment or send us a message 🤝

The Wrappers donated 40 yard signs to the movement! 🎉🤝

They run a shop over in Finksburg doing very similar work we do at Dark Desire Window Tint and Vinyl, so on paper we are chasing the same customers. You would think that keeps two shops at arm's length, but they loved the idea of The Owl Movement and decided help out!

They handed over all 40 signs and asked for nothing back. No catch or favor owed, but rather one local shop helping another spread more good in our community!

You will start seeing these around Westminster and at the businesses that have our back, and every single one is here because The Wrappers decided the bigger picture mattered more than who lands the next job.

We love seeing this type of collaboration from local businesses! 🦉
