🚨 DON’T WAIT UNTIL YOUR TYRES ARE BALD! 🚨

As you can see from the photos, the tread is severely worn, with very little usable tread remaining and significant wear across the tyre.

🛞 Checking your tyre tread depth regularly is incredibly important.

Your tyres are the only part of your vehicle actually touching the road. As tread wears down:

❌ Braking distances increase
❌ Grip in wet conditions is dramatically reduced
❌ The risk of aquaplaning increases
❌ Handling and stability can suffer
❌ You could be putting yourself, your passengers and other road users at risk

The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre and around the entire circumference.

But remember — legal doesn’t always mean safe. If your tyres are heavily worn, cracked, damaged or showing uneven wear, they should be checked by a professional.
