🚗 JA Summer Event Highlight: All About Cars 🚗

Sixteen teens and parents joined us for an exciting JA All About Cars event in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.

Participants learned from automotive expert Don Brenengen, who shared practical tips on vehicles, maintenance, and car ownership.

The favorite part of the day? Getting up close with a real car for a hands-on learning experience!

Yesterday's All About Cars pilot program was a success! 🚘👏

A huge thank you to Don Brenengen for supporting this partnership program with Junior Achievement and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse.

JA All About Cars focuses on vehicle ownership, often the second-largest financial decision a person makes in their lifetime. The program is designed to help participants make informed choices and reduce transportation-related costs through practical car-buying and ownership education.

Topics included:
✅ Shop smart when buying a vehicle
✅ Build a budget (payments, fuel, insurance, maintenance)
✅ Identify reliable vehicles
✅ Keep your car running longer

We had a great turnout of teens & their parents and are excited to continue building on this program.

If YOU like a family friendly environment and enjoy working with cars, then we are looking for YOU to join our team!

This position is full-time and ideal for a motivated, dependable individual who takes pride and delivering high quality results. Detailers focus on thorough cleaning, restoration, and cosmetic enhancements of both interior and exterior surfaces after structural repairs, painting, and bodywork are complete.
👉Duties and Responsibilities:
Wash vehicle exterior, remove paint imperfection, wax auto body, vacuum interior, clean upholstery & other surfaces, paint touch ups, follows schedule, runs errands, cleaning in/out and around the facility, order supplies and other duties & responsibilities as assigned.
👉Experience/Skills:
Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance a plus, ability to read and comprehend instructions, detail oriented, ability to work independently, ability to complete assignments in a timely manner, utilize all safety equipment when appropriate & ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely.

*Training is available for this position.
*Wage offered will vary based on the candidate's experience and productivity.
*Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license & good driving record.
