Started by Cavallino Magazine, the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic is the premiere Ferrari event in North America. Since 1992, we've held an annual gathering of Ferrari enthusiasts at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida every January. Over the last quarter century, we've seen some of the most beautiful and rare Ferraris ever made come to the Cavallino Classic to race, show, and win. As our esteemed Head Judge (now Emeritus) Ed Gilbertson always says, "Ferraris are meant to be driven!"

Six editions, one truly unique setting.

Cavallino Classic Modena has become a jewel in the international Cavallino calendar, in the heart of Italy’s legendary Motor Valley: the land where Enzo Ferrari’s story began.

From May 22 to 24, 2026, an exceptional selection of Ferraris, warm Italian hospitality at Casa Maria Luigia, fine cuisine by Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore, and shared passion came together beneath the late-spring sun.

Cavallino 275 (October-November 2026) opens with Monterey Car Week, where the number of Ferraris on the Peninsula never fails to astonish. We bring you the major events of The Week, from Pebble Beach and the Quail to Casa Ferrari, plus the auction results. We then travel to the Louis Vuitton Dolomites Classic Run, back after years of absence and, starting from Venice, as magical as ever.

Our cover car is the 1954 250 Monza Spyder Scaglietti, s/n 0442: one of only two built and the sole survivor in its original configuration, raced by Scuderia Guastalla and now restored by Ferrari Classiche to return to the Carrera Panamericana configuration.

Inside, we celebrate Carrozzeria Scaglietti and its founder, Sergio Scaglietti, and meet Egidio Brandoli, who has probably hammered and caressed more Ferrari bodies than anyone else. We also revisit the 1984 308 GTM, s/n 002, the pillar that led to the 288 GTO and the F40.

The 36th Palm Beach Cavallino Classic will feature a journey meant to be savored.

On Friday, February 19th, the Cavallino Tour d’Eleganza will welcome all Ferrari models to the scenic roads of South Florida, escorted by police and joined by fellow Ferraristi. The drive will end with a grand arrival at The Boca Raton, a fitting stage for a day of pure Ferrari elegance.

Belgian entrepreneur Glenn Janssens brought the Ferrari 328 GTS chassis 83136 to Cavallino Classic Modena 2026, the final steel-body 328 GTS to leave Maranello.

Numbers-matching throughout: original engine (F105046, no. 19816), original gearbox (no. 632), bodywork and interior exactly as the factory specified. Ferrari Classiche certified since 2016, with a new certificate underway for 2026.

From Switzerland to France in 2008, then to Belgium in 2024, where Glenn has been its custodian ever since. Full history file: maintenance log, invoices, inspection reports, prior expert appraisal. Nothing missing.

In 2027 two anniversaries converge: 80 years of Ferrari, and 40 years of the F40. To mark them, the 36th Cavallino Classic Palm Beach will present a special class dedicated to the model, shown alongside the finest Ferraris in the world.

When Ferrari unveiled the F40 at Maranello on July 21, 1987, the occasion was the company’s 40th anniversary. What arrived was not a commemorative model but a statement of intent: racing technology transferred to the road, with nothing softened for it.

The car grew out of the 288 GTO Evoluzione and out of Enzo Ferrari’s own philosophy: speed and innovation pursued without compromise. Engineering followed a single priority. A tubular steel chassis carried Kevlar and carbon-fiber body panels; behind the cabin sat a longitudinally mounted 2,936 cc twin-turbocharged V8 producing 478 hp; dry weight was held to 1,250 kg (2,756 lbs). The result cleared 320 km/h and made the F40 the first production Ferrari to pass 200 mph.

Pininfarina’s design answered to the same logic. The low nose, the NACA ducts, the exposed rear wing and the exaggerated proportions were not styling exercises but solutions to airflow and cooling.
Production ran from 1987 to 1992 and stopped at 1,311 examples.
