"Life is fleeting, a truth that hit home with the recent passing of a dear friend, Massimo . Introduced to me by a mutual friend, Massimo was a hardworking individual who, after two years of neglect, decided to sell his boat due to his demanding job.
After several interested parties, the boat found a new owner Just five days before Massimo's untimely passing. I called Massimo on Wednesday, exchanging early Christmas wishes and catching up on life. Little did I know that it would be our last conversation.
On Christmas Eve, my friend informed me that Massimo had suffered a heart attack and had passed away during the night. The suddenness of it all left me reflecting on the brevity of life.
