The Current Audi cars are very sensitive to voltage drops. This case is a perfect example of why certain things should be performed only by trained technicians. A simple car battery replacement was going to cost a lot of money for this Q7 owner. They replaced the car battery themselves, and then all kinds of warning lights appeared in the instrument cluster. The dealer replaced the car battery once again and suggested that the airbag module also be replaced. They missed the fact that sometimes the airbag module can simply forget its coding, like the old ABS modules in the VW Mk5s and A3 8Ps. It only needed parametrization, coding, and sensor learning. On top of this, to get rid of the false car alarms when the car was locked, I performed a software update on the rear doors as per the Audi TSB. After 2 hours of doing what was needed and using 2 different laptops, the car is totally free of warning lights and annoying dings again, saving the owner few thousand dollars in repairs..
