One of Automation Inc.’s largest past lubrication system installations to date was the complete Lincoln Industrial LFC Fluid Management and Inventory Control System installed at a heavy equipment dealer’s new sales and service facility.

Over several months, Automation completed the full installation in a sixteen-bay heavy equipment service and maintenance facility. The project included eight hose-reel banks, each containing three oil reels and one air reel, with waste-oil and antifreeze evacuation pumps at the base of every bank. Viking oil filters were installed to filter all inbound oil before it entered the bulk storage tanks.

The system also featured electric high-volume fast-fill oil pumps, Lincoln PowerMaster III new-oil pumps, and spill boxes at the remote fill station where delivery drivers connect to the bulk tanks to offload new oils and collect waste fluids.

At Automation Inc, our Pump Repair Department is a cornerstone of our business, providing essential services to keep your equipment running smoothly. While many pump repairs can be labor-intensive, sometimes we get lucky with a straightforward fix.

Take this recent case: a customer brought in a vintage SKF/Vogel grease pump from their primary Wheel Loader, which had stopped working. When our technician tested the pump, we found it was still running, pumping grease, and building pressure—yet the pressure gauge was stuck at zero.

After a quick gauge replacement, we confirmed the pump was in perfect working order. The customer was thrilled to have their pump back so quickly and couldn’t believe it was just a faulty gauge, not the pump itself, that caused the issue. Instead of a full diagnostic and service charge, we only billed for the gauge, providing a fast and affordable solution.

This kind of customer service is at the heart of what Automation Inc was founded on back in 1966, and we’re proud to uphold that tradition today.
