National Apple Pie Day has us going all the way back to 1381 England, when one of the earliest recorded apple pie recipes called for apples, figs, raisins, pears, spices and saffron. No sugar. No ice cream. No arguing with the village baker.

So today, the Lars Body Shop crew traded in collision repair for medieval horse armor repair.

Dented breastplate?
Bent stirrup?
Scratched battle helmet?
A Clydesdale backed into your wagon again?

Bring it to Lars.

We may normally fix cars, trucks, semis, and auto glass… but for National Apple Pie Day, we’re pretending it’s 1381 and the guys are repairing body armor for horses while taste-testing pie like royal food inspectors.

Verdict:
The pie passed inspection.
The armor estimate is pending.

Today can mean a lot of different things for a lot of different people.

Some are celebrating with their mom right next door.
Some are missing phone calls they wish they could still make.
Some are separated by miles.
Some are carrying memories instead of moments.
And some have stepped into the role of “mom” for people who needed love, guidance, and strength.

No matter what today looks like for you, moms matter.

They fill the gaps nobody else sees.
They carry burdens quietly.
They hold families together through the chaos, the heartbreak, the routines, and the little everyday moments that often go unnoticed.

To all the mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and women who show up with love day after day — thank you.
