MEET THE TEAM

Today we would like to introduce Justin Marshall. Justin has been with us for 9 years. Justin is well diverse in all automotive brands. To the day one of the best and probably youngest techs I’ve seen in my 30 years in this industry with carburetors. Justin was our shop foreman when we were two separate locations. He oversaw A2Z Customs. With the merge he now is shop foreman over seeing 12 technicians. He’s responsible for shop efficiency and helping his peers with the difficult diagnostics.

In his spare time Justin enjoys some hunting and going out in his shop at home and tinkering with projects. He’s going to be responsible for putting the 64 Chevrolet C10 back on the road and no better young man for the job. Welcome to the team Justin and thank you for the diversity you have and bringing it to the table at A2Z 💯

Maintenance is key….

We post major jobs most the time. Today we’re taking the time to express the importance of maintenance. Most people think oil and filter changes when maintenance is mentioned. Some of the most over looked items are cabin filters, air filters, front or rear differentials, transfer case, transmission services etc.

This is a cabin filter out of a relatively newer Toyota Tacoma with 100k miles on it. . I imagine it’s never been replaced since it rolled off the show room floor.

Spring and pollen is coming. Have your filters checked and replaced in time to catch all that pollen.

We do it all from a to z. Maintenance is crucial to the longevity of your vehicle.

We may be higher then Take 5 down the street. But you get what you pay for.

We never claimed to be better tuners than anyone. We do what we need to do for the work we do in house. We do use wideband tuning because of the importance of air fuel mixture ratio. We refer all tuning for dyno out and don’t offer that because we don’t have a dyno. We don’t talk about other tuners in our area. It’s a practice we have inherited from day one. No sense to do so.

However several we have been behind (for various reasons) turn off long term fuel trims with HP tuners. This is why. This video and short article explains how important short term trims are and need to be cleared after a tune adjustment. … short term fuel trims are important for immediate fueling. That’s all fine for 1/4 mile pulls but if your vehicle is a daily or driven more for practical use and not 1/4 mile racing… then long term fuel trims are as important. Tells me fuel trims are not understood if they are tuned “out” or off. Protect your investment and be careful on who tunes your ride. Stay up to date with all changes and technology.
