Take these deer signs seriously in Pennsylvania. They’re not decorative. They’re not a suggestion. They’re a legally binding prophecy. A deer will just appear like you owe it money and like you put his uncle on your wall. One second the road is empty, the next there’s a full-grown whitetail standing in your headlights like he’s been waiting all day just to ruin your deductible.

He will be there quicker than a Sheetz bathroom decision at 2 a.m. Quicker than PennDOT fixing the wrong pothole. No fear. No urgency. Just vibes.
And it’s never one deer. There’s always a second one. Maybe a third. Possibly a committee. They communicate telepathically. The first one distracts you while the others debate whether to cross, turn around, run directly into your car, or just stare at you like you’re the problem. Your horn does nothing. Your brights make it worse. Time slows. Your soul leaves your body. Somewhere, a deer is offended you’re late.

This isn’t wildlife. This is Pennsylvania culture. The sign warned you. The deer knew it. And now you know it too.
