Hey all. Hope everyone is faring well out there. FYI . . . Mike Ivey Auto will pick up, fix and/or service your vehicle, and then return it back to you so you do NOT have to leave the house. We understand folks need to have a working vehicle in their driveway in the event of an emergency, or to go get staples. We will stay open as long as we are permitted to do so. Just wanted to let everyone know - we are open. And to repeat, you do have the option for us to pick up your vehicle and return it back to you after service/repairs are done. Please call the office 610-430-8487 to coordinate. Be safe and share this to anyone you know. Especially the elderly who should NOT leave.

Mechanic Maintenance Monday w/Mike:

Our schedules tend to shift in the summer time and our car’s maintenance schedules should too. If you’ve got long road trips on the horizon, a stint of towing a boat or camper in the works, or just tend to drive shorter trips more often in the summer, your oil change frequency needs to adjust accordingly. During summer travel, follow your manual’s elevated maintenance schedule. The summer schedule for your car can be found inside its owner’s manual. Or, let us figure it out for you.

Mechanic Maintenance Monday w/Mike.

Check your (spare) tire pressure. Most tires will hold air indefinitely, however, some leak very slowly, creating problems when you set out for a road trip. My advice? Check the spare also. The spare gets overlooked at most garages and is useless if it’s flat when you need it the most. The spare tires are usually in the trunk beneath the carpet.
