Here is one for you diesel owners. You always hear about diesel fuel gelling and plugging filters in cold weather, but do you really know why? The wax particles in diesel are 'large' and have many rough edges on them . When cold weather comes around, these molecules grab on to each other because of the rough edges and start to cloud your fuel. A good cold flow improver treatment will absorb into these larger wax molecules and help to break them up into many smaller pieces all the while making them smoother and preventing them to group together - lowering your cold temp fuel capabilities. Trust AMSOIL in your fuel as well.

Gained a new customer this week who is going to install a new AMSOIL bypass system on his semi with a Cummins X15. He had a different system on a prior semi and with oil analysis, went 120,000 to 130,000 miles between oil changes. That engine, a Caterpillar C15 Acert, went 1.3 million miles before being rebuilt. He has always used AMSOIL Signature Series oil. Just a great testament to using a high quality oil and staying on top of maintenance. If you have any equipment that you want to protect, look into what AMSOIL offers. It is a family owned company and puts quality first.

Did you guys know that there are other products besides synthetic motor oils that AMSOIL produces and sells? I am going to start and show you guys on a weekly basis (hopefully) different products - which includes oils - that I have used and my experience with them.
First up - AMSOIL's Glass Cleaner. This is a foaming spray product that doesn't have an ammonia smell or a very strong smell period. I have found that it works on all kinds of glass surfaces - household mirrors, car windshields and even my patio sliding door. The only thing that I have found it didn't tackle great was soap scum on our shower doors.
I have attached images of my recent patio door cleaning. It even worked on the cold outer side of the door. Let me know if you have any questions. You can buy a can or a case of 12 cans for all of your glass cleaning.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Look what others are doing. If you haven't used these bags, they make life easier for differential changes and truly have less waste. BTW, I see their price as outrageous and can get you a much better deal - just ask me how. -Seth

Fun fact. Even though it was warmer today, it still took my full 18 mile commute for my transmission oil to reach operating temperature on the way home.

Did you know that an oil only needs as little as 3% synthetic to be called a semi-synthetic? There is no API requirement. When AMSOIL did independent testing of competitors, most of the samples were about 15%.
