This method is by far the easiest, most effective, most accurate and most reliable procedure to set the proper clearance in the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder and push rod system. If the slave cylinder has an internal spring on the piston then simply leave the clamp on the pushrod while performing this task. The internal spring is unnecessary and should always be removed. Many times a small button head screw tapped and threaded into the piston head to keep the piston just above the inlet hole is required in place of the spring.

Spinner thread identification can be confusing since Left Hand Thread spinners are located on the Right side of the car and Right Hand Threads are on the Left side of the car. So if you see an LH or RH that could mean Left hand side of the car, or Left hand thread for the Right side of the car. So after the final buff and micro polish, we take the time and go the extra mile to hand etch each of our Forged Alloy spinners with the LHT or RHT thread direction on the back of the spinner for unmistakable identification.

Just completed two very special custom "thin air" carbs for two Cobras, one for 3,500 feet and the other for 10,000 feet. Along with clean high altitude operation, owners will enjoy snappy throttle response, increase power, more torque, smooth drivability, maximum fuel economy and easy starting in all weather, and even at those higher altitudes, of course!

Every batch of Spinner 911 tools we put out always has an improvement added to them, whether it being design, fit, finish, strength or even the instruction package. This month's batch has several improvements increasing strength as well as including these little details which may seem minor, but it was worthy adding to make using the tool just a little easier and more efficient to use.
