A New Chapter Begins | Thank You, Jerry & Junell

To the incredible greater Wenatchee community!

With a full heart, I’m honored to officially take ownership of The Muffler Shop. First, a huge thank you to Jerry and Junell for building something legendary over 45+ years, and for trusting me to carry the torch forward.

Some of you know me from the shop floor, others from under the hood. I’ve worked alongside Jerry for years, what started as a sublease became a mentorship, and a friendship I’ll always value. His craftsmanship and character have left a lasting impact on me and this shop.

To the customers who've supported this shop over the years, thank you! I'm here to honor that legacy with the same dependable service, plus a renewed drive to grow, innovate and go the extra mile.

Some of you may have heard that Jerry has retired. This is true as of July 1, 2025 he is officially retired at age 75 What about The Muffler Shops future you may ask?
Steve Schooler who has been sub leasing with us will be purchasing The Muffler Shop. As many of you know he has been running his business along side ours for several years. He not only is a talented mechanic but has learned to do exhaust systems with Jerry's guidance over the years and now has been for several years a very talented exhaust expert in his own right. We feel that Steve is the right person to take The Muffler Shop into the future.
With this being said Jerry and I want to express our appreciation to all of our customers in and outside our community for your trust and support for over 45 years in business. It's been a lot of fun and an honor to work on your beautiful hot rods, your every day drivers and agriculture equipment. We have loved that a lot of you came in as customers and went out as people we considered friends.
It is sad to sell The Muffler Shop after so many years but it is time to move on to a new phase in our future.
With much love for what The Muffler Shop has accomplished., all the great memories and a huge appreciation to all who have come to The Muffler Shop.

It is with a heavy heart that Jerry and I learned of the passing of not only one of our long time customers but our friend, Bob LaFolette.
We have loved working on his beautiful classic cars over the years.
I had the privilege to drive one of his cars if he needed a driver to get his cars to a car show over the years. It was truly an honor to be trusted to drive them.
We will remember his kindness and passion for classic cars as well as his random stops at the shop just to say hello. We already miss you Bob!
