It's incredibly exciting to see our recent state grant making waves in the press! πŸŽ‰ We're thrilled that several agencies have picked up the story, highlighting the significant $305,035 state grant awarded to Woodland Biomass Innovations by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

This vital funding is a huge step forward, accelerating the engineering and design phase for our groundbreaking wood-to-gasoline plant in Tioga County, PA. It reinforces Pennsylvania's commitment to sustainable energy, local job creation, and fostering a robust circular economy. We're eager to bring locally produced, low-carbon transportation fuels to market, transforming low-grade woody biomass into 87-octane road-grade gasoline.

We are incredibly excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with Carnegie Mellon UniversityπŸŽ‰

Talented teams from two CMU programs will conduct a crucial market study for Woodland BIO, delving deeply into consumer behavior in fuel decision-making. This is the first time that the CMU Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences' Behavioral Economics program and the Tepper School of Business' Technology Leadership program will collaborate on a single project.

Their research will explore a pivotal question: How will consumers react to a sustainably produced, road-grade gasoline that is chemically identical to fossil fuel gasoline?

A huge thank you to Professor Mary Butler Everson and Erin Carbone for taking the lead on this innovative collaboration!

We look forward to the insights their work will bring as we advance sustainable energy solutions.
