Thursday John William from Dorikato Motorsports LLC had me adjust the car for 10psi boost and this is how he used that 700whp! Damn fine driving, look forward to seeing more of this!

Daymons Mustang didn't even run 2 days ago but kept going rounds ended with a 11.12@132. The converter is way to tight so it would not do better then a 1.9 60ft

Dylan and his C10 has never been to the drag strip and he ended the day with a 10.6 @129 and we where just starting to open it up.

Zacs G8 ended up going 10.12 @135 and making it look easy.

No power changes had been done, we where just trying to make everything work on the line and find the optimal shifts. Zacs car went from a 1.7 to a 1.58 with just a dial adjustment on the rear shocks.

Im pretty thankful to these guys and excited to see how they keep progressing. At the end of the day all three drove back onto the trailer and could go again tomorrow.

Just want to say something about VTT on these LT vehicles. I am by no means perfect or know everything about tuning but one thing I have come to learn is the Virtual Torqe Table is crazy important when doing these and just about every single 07+ GM that comes with a tune already has a factory VTT. This Vette is a big example of how important it is. The red line is the baseline pull on e85 and 24 degrees peak, orange is everything corrected on 91 octane and 19 degrees. Just trying to say the torque tables are very important with every point of tuning a GM 07+ and the 14+ uses it like crazy.

Great weekend at Mopar Showdown. Josh entered his car in the stick class and did pretty well considering it was both of our first time actually bracket racing. He was able to get the car within a tenth of dial in and was 5th out of 16 cars, plus nothing broke! We also got to see a few other friends racing for the first time and worked with them to dial in times. Next we go to Cedar Falls October 10th to see what they can do full out.

I will be out of the shop Labor day through Wednesday but back at it Thursday. Some pretty cool stuff coming and going ...

My spots for big winter builds are full already and we are into November for anything else so keep that in mind when calling. I try to sneak things in when I can as well.

Another L8T swap in the books. This 17 Burban had a high mileage hurt 5.3 so we opted to swap a 6.6 in and add headers but otherwise bone stock. Now it feels like it should for a big vehicle and has an awesome exhaust note.

Next one I will try to get some progress pictures, that is one thing I struggle with while working.

Working at home today on my Trans Am but I figured I'd share this. This C10 has been one of my biggest projects to date and its almost ready to go home. First off I have to say thank you to John Wehner on the badass transmission he built for it, this th400 doesn't miss a beat. Also Avery Christenson and Juan Fernandez for all the help getting everything put together and working. This truck pretty much had to have everything redone but before we started the base power was 480whp /600tq, this quick 3rd gear pull it made 1090whp/1330tq on 15psi! The pull is so quick and aggressive I believe its more power but I believe I am loosing some through the converter. This is a BP 632ci, twin GT45s, Holley Terminator, FIC 1650, dual custom made in tank(factory tank) Walbro 535s on e85. The 632 is unopened other than intake change for EFI. We will have more on it as the owner decides what else he wants to do.

What a privilege to be part of something like this for the NHRA Nationals at BIR this weekend. Thanks to John Trutnau for letting me sort this out and getting it running correct. This is a LT4/6l80e funny car that he built to help get kids involved and I believe they will be giving rides around BIR next weekend with it.
