It all started one day when Tyler needed to meet the Matco driver up the road at another shop for something but while he was waiting for the Matco driver he went in and introduced himself to Les and Dan. Tyler had mentioned to them that he just opened up a shop a few hundred feet down the road and wanted to know if Les would be willing to do inspections for him because we didn’t have the capability of doing so at our shop.
From that day Les, Dan and Tyler’s relationship only grew fast forward to last year Tyler had mentioned to Les how he had gotten his permit to expand his shop but Les had told him before you do that we need to talk. Les had told Tyler he is looking to retire and wanted to know if Tyler wanted to take over the business and of course Tyler said yes! It’s crazy to me how one little conversation has led to a lifetime of friendship❤️
Friday late afternoon was officially the day! To watch Tyler’s dreams unfold has been such a blessing and I can’t thank Les enough for giving Tyler this amazing opportunity to not only continue building his business but to have the opportunity to take on a business Les has worked many years to build. Tyler and I are so appreciative of all the support we have had during this and continue to have. Thank you to our family and friends who have believed in us from day one.
Happy retirement to Les, although anyone who knows him knows he can’t sit still for too long and a huge congratulations to Tyler.
